IMS, Mechanical Industry of Sommariva del Bosco, was founded on the 1969 located in Sommariva Bosco (CN) thanks to Mr. Giuseppe Aprà business vocation to supply mechanical equipments for CNC machineries and for Router Milling machines tool holders. In those years IMS was one of the first company using CNC machineries to produce mechanical spare parts used to change the metals and for marble, wood, plastic and natural stone working machineries, that actually are the main fields of our business.

 

Our production mainly concerns Mill holders and over the wide standard holders made of hard case steel with treatment of cementation, carbonising and recovering with HRC 54-60 hardness. Especially concerning marble and glass fields, they are coated with Niploy treatment to avoid rusting problems or, on request, can be directy produced on stainless steel. The all making process is executed following the DIN, UNI and ASME norms. On request are also available testing certificates per lot or per unit with laser identification branding.

 

The ability to supply special tool holders on drawing, place IMS products at high quality level allowing to give to its clients a very wide range of special services.
